CRADLEMOOR
Cradlemoor Project
Cradlemoor is a cinematic multi-layered narrative game, which casts you as Journalist William Marlowe as he journeys to the Dartmoor village of Cradlemoor to investigate a missing film crew. Cradlemoor features a persistent story across multiple playthroughs and hours of film, files and documents.
Sharing DNA with games like Her Story and shows like Twin Peaks – Cradlemoor is aimed at both traditional and non-traditional gamers and offers a rich multi-branching story via files, photos, audio clips and hours of cinematic film footage all shot on location in the English countryside.
Immerse yourself in a wealth of authentic police files, letters, film clips and documents or simply follow the main narrative. Rather than dictating answers, the game encourages players to interpret the story in their own way, allowing the wider narrative to be explored inside the imagination, discovering threads, solving mysteries and unraveling the unknown.
This game is currently being developed by TallHead ltd - a small team based in Devon, England and was supported by a Research and Development grant from the Arts Council England.
It is slated to launch into early access in early 2024.
